I go by Kyla Bendrik. No, it’s not my real name, and yes, it’s a long story. But I like the unique character of the name, as well as the fact that there’s no one else with it! (as far as I know, at least)

I am an artist. I love character and world-building arts, especially fashion design, historical fashion, and architecture. I’ve been slowly building a collection of fun, diary-like videos of my projects to share with you all, and I’m excited to share my love of learning!

  • I post several of my unique patterns in my Drafting Dynamically web app for you to explore, customize, and use in your own creative projects. Additionally, I’m always happy to take commissions for both beautifully finished garments and tailor-made custom sewing patterns!

  • Most of my original designs take several months and many hours to complete. Think about the hourly rate you would want, then multiply it by between 20 hours (for simple sewn projects) to 100 hours (for complex crocheted or embroidered items), and you’ll have a good estimate.
